13. That's The Interesting Part
The very people who said in the 90's that service to country during Vietnam was an issue, are now saying it isn't.

I still think it isn't, but since they brought it up, i think their boy needs to pay the piper. If Clinton was a "draft dodger" than so is Li'l Georgie. Besides, at least Clinton, as well as Cheney, DeLay, Lott, Gingrich, and other, have documentation that they received legal, above board, and unquestioned deferrments.

So, it either matters whether someone served honorably or it doesn't. They can't have it both ways.

15. pitiful isnt it
I go onto the Guardian UK forums in Politics Talk, and I try to combat the right wingers from the US that come in there and embarass us all with their rants..as the mother of a soldier in Iraq, they are furious with me for my anti war stance..they cannot wrap their minds around that, and call me a liar all the time..its unbelievable what they say..even when I post a picture of me and my soldier sons, they refuse to believe me, because in their small minds they think military men and women and their families like bu$h..they are clueless.
I hope I educate them, but some of them are hopeless.
Yes, the hypocrisy is amazing isnt it.

21. Hypocrites

I hate the fucking right. In their world, Bush not completing his National Guard duty isn't a big deal. War heroes like John Kerry and Max Cleland are attacked viciously, and in the case of Cleland, his injuries are dismissed as being "unfortunate" but not a result of an act of heroism.
