sending more kids into the slaughter and no one is stopping Bu$h
the black hole in Iraq is taking our kids, every one of the soldiers standing over there is a target now as civil war erupts in Iraq, and not the news, not the right wing media, no one is speaking out and demanding our troops NOT be sent..no one is screaming out that this has to end except for the military families and the troops who are writing and begging us to bring them home NOW
adding insult to injury, the Bu$h administration, cold hearted calculating bastards, are throwing into the debacle even MORE kids to die or be maimed , kids who signed up for no other reason then the fact they couldnt find decent jobs here, and needed college money..kids who are just out of high school and signed up to help out as reservists and guardsmen on the weekends..these kids are being sent as chattel..the Bu$h administration sees them as pieces on a game board, not as human beings, and the time to impeach Bu$h is NOW not later, he has to be thrown out NOW he has to be called out for the war criminal he is NOW he has to be tried and his whole adminsitration must be stopped NOW before they kill anymore of our kids ..for gods sake America WAKE UP OUR KIDS ARE BEING THROWN INTO THE MIDDLE OF A CIVIL WAR FOR NOTHING!!

17. Millions
Hey, there are millions of Americans who believe that the Universe was created in seven days and the rest of the fairy tale in their bible. Can we expect them to grasp real politik? I don't think so.

2. It makes you wonder
If it will take another 50,000 soldiers to die before we come to our senses. What a nightmare.

15. found here, but a correction
the 40.000 troops are to be added "abroad", which of course means some would be sent to Iraq. Sorry for the confusion on my part.

Los Angeles -- Charging that President Bush's lack of a "comprehensive strategy for victory" in the war on terror has left the country vulnerable to attack, Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry on Friday called for 40,000 additional troops abroad and beefed-up fire and police services at home, along with improved intelligence and diplomacy efforts which he said would help America "win this war we did not seek.''

The Massachusetts senator, speaking at UCLA, laid out what his staff called a comprehensive program on terrorism, including the hiring of 100,000 new firefighters and 100,000 new police to bolster local communities, expand international cooperation to contain dangerous weapons, and improve diplomatic efforts to calm hot spots.

6. Wonder how CNN and Whore TV feel about "Shock and Awe" now??
I wonder how they feel about pimping an illegal War for their and BushCo profits??

SH kills his own so we go over and kill more and in the process get 550 of our own sent home in a box. And those asses at Whore TV are as responsible IMO and Bush is.They could have spoke out but PROFITS always come first.

4. I hope all Americans who agree with this and can vote today
will be voting for either Dennis Kucinich or Al Sharpton. They're the only ones left standing who would end this bloody mess.

5. unfortunately that's one reason why they've been "sidelined"
those kind of views are just too far out there. Don't like war? why, what are they, communists or just freaks?

pretty sad

8. Really sad.

For some, it must be that Bush's wars and occupations are wrong because they're Bush's. Once they're inherited by a Democrat, they will be transformed into noble, nation-building enterprises.

The cognitive dissonance I sense from some is positively harrowing.

Well, I still say one loud, muthf*ckin' HELL NO!

9. 20,000 Dead Troops
That might be the cut off # for the American sheep to take notice. Not many care about the # of Iraqi deaths &/or maimed and a small percentage care about American dead or maimed. The Media has brainwashed the sheep into believing that Iraq is a great cause for stopping terrorism and building a Democratic Iraq. The Sham continues.

14. wow
you contempt for people who view the world differently is shocking. Calling others with different views "Sheep" is a sure fire way to get them to dismiss you and your ideas, no matter how good they may be,

16. Anyone who supports this invasion should be called worse then that
and I would type it on here, but it would be a hell of a lot more offensive then sheep.

19. How about "Sheeple"
'cause that's what they are. Anyone that supports the Iraq war now-lies galore, no WMDs, and 550 dead, thousands of Americans returning home injured, and thousands of dead Iraqis-should get their fat ass down to an enlistment center and sign up.

12. He lied about the whole thing and no one cares
I find that so incredible. A man who was really not legally elected, lied to invade another country--when it was finally brought to the forefront, he lied some more and, successfully I think, at least in the minds of the average public person, managed to turn it around simply by changing the language and denying that he ever said Saddam was an Imminent threat--I just find it incredible and I shake my head.

Ten thousand lives bombed to bits. These are real human beings. They had mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, children maybe, a wife or a husband--they had names and a home, perhaps a happy one, even though Bush says they were being persecuted by Saddam--we did not see 150 Shiites slaughtered in one fell swoop until Bush invaded the country and took what he wante-- and no one is bringing him to account.

I cannot believe it and I am thoroughly disgusted with this system. It is immoral at this point, and is seriously broken when NO ONE can bring this evil man to account for this--I leave out Kucinich and Byrd--the rest of them are merely playing the same old disgusting politics game.

13. Thousands will make their voices heard on March 20
Kucinich is still speaking out, too. I know that doesn't help much considering how much he's marginalized but at least he's trying. So is Al.

We need more advocates for peace. :(

20. Millions, I hope, around the world.
If it's going to be stopped, and future wars averted, I think the leadership has to come from the streets. But it has to be more than one day.
