He's an active member of freerepublic.com. He has WH press credentials. He irked the CIA by revealing to Joe Wilson the alleged existence of a secret internal memo regarding his wife and his mission to Niger. He works for Talon News, a false-front "news service."

The volunteer "reporters" include a high school student, a woman who grows herbs, an aerospace employee, a couple of ringers....and yet they have a seat in the daily White House briefings.

7. So what is this about? Are there no standards?

Team BushCO gets to plant a shill at every press briefing and pretend it's an actual journalist? Is that the story?

This should be a huge story. I bet every reporter in the WH Press Corps would be interested in this. Don't you think? I mean, it's a corruption of the whole system - it demeans and diminishes their professionalism. I would think if they have a plant in their midst they would like to know about it.

Gannon is on the subpoena list.

Why? Probably because he (according to a report in The Washington Post) mentioned to Joe Wilson in an interview in October 2003 the existence of a secret internal document regarding Ms. Plame's position in the CIA as it might or might not have related to Wilson's assignment to Niger.

I'd like to see that document - I bet Fitzgerald would too!

8. Ok, the first sentence burned me.

Ambassador Joe Wilson, the man at the heart of the White House/CIA leak controversy, recently sat down with Talon News...

Joe Wilson is not at "the heart" of the "controversy." Valerie Plame, the CIA operative whose career was destroyed and life was endangered, is the person most involved. The other - unknown at this time - person at "the heart" of the case is the one who illegally revealed her name. Robert Novak, the slimeball who reported Ms. Plame's name and occupation, is the third person at "the heart" of the case. The only "controversy" is in whether or not the guilty ones deserve the death penalty for their treason or just life in prison.

The sexism, arrogance, and blatant, blind stupidity of that first sentence made it difficult for me to read further. When I did I found that my first impression was confirmed.
