URBAN LEGEND: Kerry "inaction caused 9/11." STATUS: DEBUNKED!
BUSTED! One of the "whistleblowers" who is the source of this attack propagated by FOX News -- one Mr. Brian Sullivan -- said in an interview with NBC News on SPETEMBER 16, 2001:

...
HANSEN: Besides helping the TV journalists, Sullivan says he expressed his concerns to the FAA administrator's hotline. He also says he sent this letter to Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, a letter that now seems all too prophetic.
Mr. SULLIVAN: With the concept of jihad, do you think it would be difficult for a determined terrorist to get on a plane and destroy himself and all of the passengers? Think for a moment how vital the air transportation industry is to our overall economic well being as a nation. Think what the result would be of a coordinated attack which took down several domestic flights on the same day. The problem is that with our current screening system this is more than possible. Given time, considering current threats, it is almost likely.
HANSEN: Sullivan says Senator Kerry responded to his letter and asked the Department of Transportation's inspector general to look into the matter.
Mr. SULLIVAN: I think Senator Kerry did get it to the right people and that they were about to take the right action."

What prompted him to CHANGE HIS STORY?!?

More here.

1. This is TOO funny...
Yes, Kerry caused 9/11....he should have known what useless prats the Republicans were and done something himself....

It sounds like Bob Boudelang.....but I could never have made up an argument this ridiculous in a zillion years.

2. Actually it makes me wonder if Sullivan was complicit in 9/11
After all, making the complaint could have been an act of creating plausible deniability so he could later blame it on Kerry

4. To begin with...
I feel that anyone who really took that Sperry article with anything less than a grain of salt, got duped by the campaign rhetoric. Secondly, it would seem as if there are some pretty adamant John Kerry supporters here at DU.

But what's that old saw "A Lie can make it around the world before the truth has got its boots on?"

6. Man, I was kinda hoping this would grow legs.
I would love to see a debate as to who was more complicit on 9/11. Would help to expose alot of the Bu-shit out there. And Kerry would have NO problem with an under oath full panel testimony, unlike the chimp-in-chief.
