Did anyone watch Horns and Halos tonight on Cinemax?
It was a documentary about James Hatfield, author of the Bush biography Fortunate Son. It was pretty intense. He ended up committing "suicide" in 2001.

1. Wish I had Cinemax.
Hope it comes out on DVD. Was it good?

4. Very good
I'm always a sucker for this stuff, I get pulled in, then get pretty cynical about the future of this country, but it's one of those reality things I guess we all have to face about this world. It can be a tough place sometimes.

2. I saw it a few weeks back
Very disturbing documentary. I could tell Hatfield was mentally unstable, and I felt bad for the man. I don't think he was 'suicided'. I think he had problems.

On a lighter note, I though Sander Hicks was very cute.

3. Yes he was
I preferred the later hair over the spiky 1999 "do" though.

I don't know. He did have problems, but it's not an inconceivable set-up, either with that or with setting him up on those fraud charges which pushed him to do it. It leaves you wondering though. Very sad.
