Cheney Just Flubbed a Hitler Quote
he said 'we came as CONQUERORS' when he ment to say 'we came as LIBERATORS not as CONQUERORS' he caught himself and restated but it was freudian to say the least.

16. Letterman's vacation
He was off last week and the chimp got a little bump in the polls. Coincidence?

Dave's back at work now, and the country couldn't have waited any longer.

4. MSNBC is running the Big Dick speech split-screened with Baghdad
Edited on Wed Mar-17-04 01:59 PM by hatrack
It's been an interesting counterpoint - Cheney's brayings and the resulting rapturous applause accompanying the broadcast feed of burning buildings and mangled corpses being carried away by Iraqi cops.

Probably not what Dick would call an ideal broadcast environment.

6. they came in late to cheney
they stayed only a moment and got bored and went to baghdad. i guess they are going back and forth. doesnt make for a forceful statement anyway, and the chaos of iraq makes it more insignificant. well maybe they arent all lucky

9. No shit?
He really said that? OMG! These guys have had all of us in an uproar all this time, we worry and worry but now they are really getting freaking scary when they say this stuff out loud in public. It was one thing to know it was there but to see it actually come out is another thing entirely. This is no coincidence given everything else, Kerry= terrorism, elections=terrorism. I am going to bed now. After an early afternoon drink.

14. He's really the slimiest lying creep I've ever seen...
... since McCarthy. He makes Agnew look like a choirboy. The man spouts lies in such a facile manner it's almost enough to make me believe in Satan - evil incarnate. He's the epitiome of detestibility -- corrupt beyond secular redemption.

17. Why isn't he working?
Considering what's happening on the other side of the screen here, shouldn't Cheney be doing something more productive than bashing Kerry right now?

20. I couldn't stop laughing...
but in the crying, sad sort of way. I heard that slip. You actually hear something like that slip from Cheney's mouth, and it sends chills through your body, knowing what he and his friends want to do.

They're not losing power. It's beyond any election at this point.

21. Kerry on now
Boy, this is great. Cheney flubs and gets a broadcast where his failed policies are shown up in a split screen. Then go to split screen of Kerry, who is on now, blasting the fraud administration's policies.

Cosmic justice at work again.
