I shit you not. He lives just south of Tulsa, and he's a Democrat.
:D

Now I shall race tearfully to my room, assume the prenatal position and turn the electric blanket up to 9.

;-)

1. We have a noteworthy George Bush here in Saginaw
He's a long-time lawyer here.
John
I suspect ours is a Republican. But I wouldn't know.

2. What a burden
My right wing cousin, who I'm sure doesn't vote, shares bush's last name. They are NOT related but she tells everyone she is, I love her dearly but...

9. boring really..
my mother won a national humanities medal and the president always presents the award.

The image of Clarence Thomas clutching my mother's hand (my mom, a die-hard liberal) as they came out of the state dining room is something I will, unfortunately, never forget.

And then there is my mom telling * that she didn't want to sit down because "I have a run in my pantyhose and I'm afraid that if I sit down it will run all the way up to my butt".

...I need another scotch now.

10. oh, that's okay then ...
Using the word "butt" when talking to a real President might be a little edgy, but of course George Walker Bush is a Supreme Court appointee, not chosen by the American people.

What did your mom think of him?

4. Funny, we have a George Bush here in our state too, and he lives
in great big house on Walker's Point and has secret service guards just like the one in the White House. And he's as ugly and corrupt as the one in the White House.

8. I went to high school with Marvin Bush
Think I played a round or two of golf with him. Not exactly the saltiest fry in the bag, if memory serves.

Another dispatch from the Almost Close Affiliation With Famous People But Not The Ones We Like To Brag About file.
