Hotmail Censoring E-mail?

I sent my sister an e-mail a few weeks ago, and she never received it. Just today, she tried to send me an e-mail, but it says that my email address has been permanently blocked, because I sent her a harmful document. The e-mail I sent her a few weeks ago contained a lot of pictures that I had created on my computer that made fun of Bush & Co. Has anyone had any similar problems?

1. Yes, a fellow DU'er sent me an attachment for

nursery (plants) sales in our area. They blocked the attachment because of possible virus infections. It could be something this simple.

Hotmail just sucks. I've had emails from friends that didn't have any attachments dumped into junk email.

3. Ive wondered what has happened to emails - had various problems.

I used to send more political stuff from my hotmail account and then I began to notice weird things happening. One was they stopped letting me email certain amounts per day, and I wasnt sending out a huge amount of emails. That happened a long time ago, they created a so called bulk rule, which at times barred my sending of emails even when I hadnt even sent any correspondence for 24 hours. I finally signed up and paid for extra storage, which I felt was a wash, but at the time it was the quickest solution I found. I have know other activists/friends have had the same problem.

Also, friends have mentioned to me theyve had problems receiving emails I had sent, and I have not received emails I was supposed to receive a number of different times. However, I still receive most of my emails. (At least I think)

One thing that is also interesting. Even when I have 90% storage capacity (which means theres still 10% available) they say that I could not be receiving emails. This just started happening about 6 months ago. It makes no sense that I can see.

Are they censoring? Probably. I think its good just to keep tabs of situations that arise and if it continues, post another thread. Thanks for posting this one. Its important for DUers and others to know whats going on, because its seems to me its an infringement.
