They surely would have taken action if they knew that an airline would have been used as a missile to attack the North Tower on 8:45:17 am on that clear September morning.

Aside from wondering if she was going to promote totalatarianism as the solution, I couldn't believe they never called her on it.

I'm not one to believe that things can't get done without some sort of cataclysmic impetus. It's really a question of good leadership, since they had compelling evidence and would have been supported by the previous administration.

Condi should know this. Afterall, the pushed ahead with their NMD plans despite public and beuarocratic opposition, despite the lack of need. They pushed for the Iraq war despite signifiicant oppostition.
