Do Repubs Realize Voting Machines Can Be Rigged AGAINST Them, Too?
It seems to me that Repubs are lackadaisical about black box voting, perhaps because they realize that recent elections in Florida, Texas, and Georgia, for example, have been rigged in their favor.

Do they not realize that it's quite possible liberal hackers could easily crack the code and make Repubs lose several races?

It seems to me that Repubs are stupid not to realize that voter-verified paper receipts are in the best interests of BOTH parties.

Otherwise, Repubs, you could wind up with Democrats winning all races in South Carolina or Alabama. How'd you like that?

1. I'm afraid of them "accidentally losing" results from a Dem precinct
They will lose a few GOP votes, but could lose hundreds of Dem votes. How convenient.

4. You're fears are justified
manula and Electronic Disenfranchisement WILL be practiced by the Busheviks in 2004.

We must make it as hard as possible for them to do so.

3. No, because Bushevik-Law Enforcement is Totalitarian
It goes like this, for thsoe of you unfamiliar with Stalin, Hitler, Ferdinand Marcos, Papa Doc Duvalier, and others who are so much like our Emperor Bunnypants*:

1) Republicans hack machines, stuff ballot, block ballots, etc.---No investigation, perhaps a small sham investigation; NO PROSECUTION even if something is found, which it wouldn't.

2) Democrats hack machines; Investigation, prosecution, book thrown, Bushevik Imperial Media screams for 8 months 24/7 about it, fabricating, exaggerating, and distorting without challeneg.

In other words, to the Busheviks (ideally and they are moving fasst towards it) All of Imperial Amerika is Mississippi in the 1940s with THEM as the KKK and the rest of us as the (RACIAL EPITHET REDACTED)s.

Democrats could try, certainly, but the results are as predictable as if the same situation existed in the 1978 Soviet Union (which Imperial Bushevik-Occupied Amerika resembles more closely every day).

in conspires theories.

p.s. we do not want "voter-verified paper receipts" those are not able to be used in a recount. we want voter-verified paper ballots.

6. I Think a Clever Hacker
could screw up the voting results from an election to make it obvious that they are hacked -- like giving the Democratic Socialist candidate 99% of the vote. It wouldn't even be stealing an election, because the results would never be accepted. They would be forced to conduct a new election.

Might be the only way to get people's attention and highlight the complete inability to do a recount.

9. I truly believe that is what it will take to get people to wake up
I don't think anyone will take it seriously unless several hackers (in this case patriots) destroy the sham and totally screw up the results so that it can't be ignored. Anything less and people won't believe it.
