3. But the article seems fuzzy to the point of uselessness
It defines fascism in such narrow terms that nobody since Hitler and Mussolini qualities. For example, it sees fascism as requiring an alliance between the leader of a militant populist movement and traditional elites -- and then rules Bush out because he's from the elite end and not the populist end.

So the photos are just a bait-and-switch.
