3. Sounds like pretty disgraceful behavior, no doubt-

Tho' not quite on the same level as drunken vehicular homicide, fortunately.

4. Oh, yeah, Wanda Baucus is a real demon, I guess!
Looks like the right-wing driven press has been gunning for her in Washington:
This is not the first time Wanda Baucus has attracted media attention recently. A year ago, she was the subject of a gossip column in The Washington Post, after she posted a ‘‘Peace is Patriotic'' sign in the window of their Georgetown home.

‘‘I want the people in Iraq to have peace — the people whose lives are in turmoil because of the war, the children, their mothers, the farmers, the grandmothers and even the camels that are out grazing,'' Wanda Baucus told gossip columnist Lloyd Grove.

She is a painter and anthropologist and also expressed concerns about cultural artifacts.
(snip)
Malicious gossip, exactly the kind of article low-talent reporters relish when they don't have the intelligence to develope really good stories.

Jesus. I guess it's quite a bit more important than writing about the world being raped, plundered, and the citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. killed indiscriminately, with no end in sight.

An argument between two ladies at a garden center's really front page news, isn't it?

5. Well, just like Michael Jackson and Janet's boob,
it helps the Powers That Be distract the American public from the man behind the curtain.

Ya gotta admit, tho, that there is some irony in juxtaposing the article you posted against the recent story- a Peace is Patriotic sign? (btw, got link? would love to read the whole thing)

8. I just found a photo of her husband, looking for the name of a C-Span
show host in google.

Do you recognize this Democratic Senator?

He has been involved in some GREAT work as a Senator. He's also made some questionable calls, but I think he's essentially a good guy.

I'm giving his wife a pass, for sure.
