Is Bremer appointing a new Pope too?

Smoke rises past a minaret in the besieged Iraqi city of Falluja, April 29, 2004. U.S. warplanes struck three areas of Falluja on Thursday, shortly after the announcement of a deal in which U.S. forces would ease their siege of the city, witnesses said. The Golan district, a guerrilla stronghold and the scene of heavy fighting over the past few days, was one of the three areas hit, they said. (Akram Saleh/Reuters)
