..I could say I told you so, but so many people MUCH smarter than I already have....

3. That's sort of my point....
It was portrayed in the "liberal" media as ebing a "pro-American" move by El Residente, "we don't want no damn furriners tellin' us what we kan and kant do..."...when all along it was just a ploy to avoid accountability and some highly embarrassing war-crimes trials...

The sheeple swallowed it hook line and sinker....

Treaties, international law & the US constitution mean nothing to these bastards. The Iraqi prisoners, like the Gitmo inmates, were never charged with anything, had no lawyers and were brought before no judge or tribunal. Their inquisitors, Judges & juries were the CIA, they have no rights at all. And Bush claims that Iraq has been liberated! Even without the abuse & humiliation we are breaking the Geneva conventions by treating people this way. Its even worse that most of these people were simply civilians in th wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm winning many long standing arguments with my husband. He's almost agreeing with LIHOP now. :D
