Gen. Richard Myers -- My moran o' the day.
I've seen way too much of this guy over the last year. It is absolutely embarassing this man is chairman of the joint cheifs. He is a disgrace to this country and to former military leaders like Patton, Douglas MacArthur and Omar Bradley.

Myers is Elmer Fudd in an Air Force uniform. Totally disgusting. Oh how I wish Patton could some how be brought back to slap him in the face. I have no doubt he could make Myers cry, given the time.

1. Myers is a big supporter of Star Wars
That's one major reason he got the job. Say what you want about Gen. Hugh Shelton, the previous Chairman, at least he was former Special Forces and had experience "in the shit" and actually leading troops.

2. Shelton rubbed me the wrong way when he ripped Clark
I wasn't a Clark supporter, but it still annoyed me. I do give him some credit. Apparently he and Clinton had a pretty good relationship.

Shelton was featured in the hilarious spoof film Clinton did when he left office. Shelton and Clinton were playing "Battleship" and Shelton's line was "you sank my battleship."

Pretty funny stuff.

3. Myers was promoted for his role in the successful attacks on 9-11
Somebody had to make sure the Air Force stood down.

IMHO, Myers is a scumbag traitor who should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Of course, that would require the American people to demand the truth.

Why was Myers promoted?

Promoting failure and incompetence doesn't make sense. Rewarding a loyal lap dog makes more sense.
