How is this not torture?
<http://apnews.myway.com/article/20040507/D82DT9O80.html>

<snip>

The hearing unfolded as The Wall Street Journal reported details from a Red Cross report that found widespread abuse Abu Ghraib, sometimes "tantamount to torture." The previously confidential report delivered to the Bush administration earlier this year raised allegations of prisoners kept naked in empty cells, beaten by coalition forces, and fired on from watchtowers, killing some

Additionally, a British tabloid said British soldiers punched and kicked prisoners held in Iraq and one corporal poked a detainee's eye until the man screamed. British authorities are investigating the authenticity of photographs published last week in the tabloid, the Daily Mirror.

Killing some? This isn't torture?

2. Even if they were sodomized with a broom stick
It's no more than one would see in a gay porn film, and the NYC cops sometimes do that to their prisoners anyway, so it's not so unusual.

3. If it is all just a bunch of "College hazing"
I wonder how many of the Freepers and CUers are willing to show there badge of honor for enduring their hazing

4. Yeah, we're so quick to dismiss their 'hazing' remarks.
Maybe this really is what they do to each other. ;-)

5. Some how that maybe closer to the truth then we know
They obviously have some deep dark resentments toward gays then they like to admit

Maybe they only faked their displeasure
