So. The first "show trial" in Iraq will be of an American.
I believe the guy's name is Sivitts. That'll go down really well with the American people. According to their liberation argument, we went to Iraq to free the Iraqi people and it's an American who ends up with the first public trial?
Yes, I believe he is a former MP who will be the first one to go to trial. Fascinating how quickly they snapped into action when the world is railing at us. I believe this is for alleged abuse about 1 year ago.
So now my question is: what was this gentleman doing before the news hit? Was he still working? Or had he been given a reprimand?
