1. The big difference between "us" and "them" is faith.

Really. Evangelical christian followers have faith and are convinced of their own rightuousness. They believe in their leaders and offer almost unquestioning loyalty. That give them a huge advantage over us in politics because we actually think about the issues ourselves. They just accept what they are told and dismiss all evidence to the contrary as propaganda and the liberal media.

Those people scare me because they have absolutely no compunction about forcing me to live my life "the right way."
