I mean it is a risk for them to try that scheme right now, even with the distraction; because there is a campaign going on. And one would hope that Kerry has someone watching Congress carefully to make sure no hanky panky goes on. And if it does find anything out of the ordinary, he can bring it out and capitalize on it.

But they might be counting on nobody listening to Kerry on domestic issues, which might be a fair assessment.

they are yapping about the un-insured they are touting Tort Reform and Health Savings Accounts and the pukes won't go for 'pay as you go'

What else I see coming they are going to use the high gas prices to try to de-regulate even more and drill Alaska.
