I MET JOHN KERRY
Last night at the rally here in Portland Oregon
John Kerry went thru the crowd after his fantastic speech
and I was right next to him, told him I have supported him
for 2years now, and he thanked me and shook my hand!!!!!
It was one of the most fantastic nights in my life
I will never forget it, he is awesome.

JOHN KERRY PRESIDENT 2004

I saw him on Earth Day in Houston and he's great in person. Had to leave before I could shake his hand tho. :(

5. congrats
I've been lucky enough to run into him a few times (the benefits of living in Chicago-The Democratic Party's ATM) and each time it has really been special.

Congrats again. Hopefully it will be much harder to see him next time because some Secret Service agent will say to him, "Mr. President, we have to go."

6. When he was here,
my husband was in the crowd. He shook my husband's hand, asked him his name and what he did for a living and asked "so what can I do for you"? Geeee, just like King George don't you think------and this was not some damn 'invitation' only event. It was open to all.

10. Thanks for sharing that - really makes the difference clear
while their policies may be more similar than many liberals would like, the man is quite obviously far, far better (and in many ways) than the shrub.

7. Cool beans
It's not every day you shake hands with a future President. I'm hoping his trip to Oregon is an indication that we will see him in Montana prior to our primary....

15. Different in person than he is portrayed by the repuke-run media.
I saw him at a rally, didn't get to shake hands but was maybe twenty feet away, and he was a lot more charismatic and young-looking than he appears on the little box.

13. 8000+ people at Pioneer Square
I couldn't even get close to the square. But I heard 'em just fine.

A great speech & it was great to hear Dean again as well.
