The "food-for-oil" scandal ??

There is a campaign afoot to discredit the UN in its entirety because it is alleged that up to $10 million dollars has been scammed off by UN officials, some at the very top. However, one small point that is over-looked and never reported is that for every dollar of Iraqi revenue from their oil, 25% goes to the Kuwaitis to compensate them for the damage done almost 14 years ago. How much have the Kuwaitis received in total of Iraqi oil revenues, stealing what is rightfully the money of the Iraqi people, with the assistance and blessing of the US of A? And we want to talk about the UN "scandal"? Seems to me there is a bigger scandal afoot with the emirs of Kuwait and their American oil friends?

1. read a couple of weeks ago

of a developing story - that spoke of a number of major oil companies that never fully quit dealing with Iraqi oil, despite the sanctions... something about the oil going to the carribean and then being bought via third parties (?) by the big oil companies.

If I recall the story was "developing..." My guess is that there were problems with the program but that much of the story (and WHO benefited from the corruption) has not yet comeout - and this is an attempt at a two-fer... 1) distract and make the story about the UN to hide the involvement of bushcronies... and 2) discredit the UN.
