This appeared in my local paper tonight.
Recently, there's been an outcry -- not only voiced in the opinion section of Public Opinion, but by numerous people in America -- to use the execution of Nick Berg as a justification for harsh treatment of Iraqi prisoners of war.
Some people have attempted to use Nick Berg's memory to blame liberals and the media. Some have pointed to this horrible crime as an example of the immorality of all Iraqis or Muslims.
I don't think Nick Berg would have wanted this to happen. I've learned a lot about Nick Berg the past few days. I go to Cornell University, in Ithaca, N.Y. Nick Berg also went here. I've heard about him from professors, and a handful of others who knew him. Follow link for the rest...
