Now the republicans see how it feels when the media focuses on a scandal.
It seems that everyday, a right wing caller says that the media is focusing too much on the Abu Ghraib torture scandal. When Clinton was president and all the media (and talking heads) talked about was the Monica thing, we democrats wanted everyone to move on because it was a personal nature but nooooooooo...the repukes talked about Monica day in and day out. Now they want this torture scandal to get off the front pages and not be discussed.

What goes around comes around IDIOTS!

1. Yeah. And this is a real scandal.
Imagine how they would have felt if Chimpy was being chased down on "scandal" after "scandal" that were just dry holes.

2. I see your point but please don't compare the two.
NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING is comparable between these atrocities and Clinton lying about an affair.

7. I agree.
Clinton's deal was of a personal nature. The two are not comparable.

16. I'll bet he chose that particular pic for the cover.
It's like he's giving a message to the repukes: "Ha, you suckers thought you had me!"

I can't wait for the book too!

6. This time it's actually a scandal of national importance,
not just a personal indiscretion. Interesting, that we should spend so much time on a personal affair, but abusing the office of the president and manipulating a vulnerable public is something to be swept under the carpet.

8. Well Clinton should not have done it. He is to smart but it
is hardly sending people off to be killed in a war. And this prison thing is crazy.Looks to me it, the prison stuff, started at the top. The information is just dripping out.

12. Well, Watergate and Iran/Contra
weren't exactly piddling little dustups...

The GOP is somewhat used to major scandals — they had a president resign over one of theirs...

13. Yep, hate to say it but payback is
a bi---. Although this payback is indeed too costly and one we'd rather not have to see. To quote these highly vociferous Christians, " Sometimes God works in mysterious ways."

15. "Sometimes God works in mysterious ways"
I'll say. The Abu Ghraib prison pictures came out of left field!

After all the scandals, all the lying, all the killing, these weird-as-hell pictures of what can only be described as a hell-on-earth with our soldiers as the ruling demons caught everybody off guard, but are the perversely perfect illustration of how wrong the US's illegal invasion of Iraq has been.

And everybody needs to remember this was brought to us by a FREE PRESS.

Remember the military tried to hide the photos.

A FREE PRESS is what is bringing down this government. Again.

A free press is THE most important part of our country.

Okay, that and voting.

Both of which are threatened NOW
