1. It's not even CYA

As another story on MSNBC said, they tried to get Ridge on the morning shows and nobody was interested until they planted that story with AP about the "new threat" and how there were "terrorists already in the country."

Of course once it got people's attention, it had served it's purpose and they backed off.

Go out looking for crop dusters I don't own, flown by people I don't know? That's every duster in America. Or am I still supposed to be looking for people carrying Old Farmers' Almanacs? I know they want me to run around in a panic, try to shove my head up my ass, but I just can't do that: I'm not a Republican.
