"Mr. President, if there is another attack, will you suspend elections..."
"...or declare martial law?"

Will a reporter have the (moxie? balls? ovaries? brass? courage? job security? WHATEVER!!!!) to ask this of Georgie sometime soon?

'Cause I'm plumb wore out from speculating about it.

2. Jeff Greenfield is insane...
He just said that if there's another attack, that would certainly bode well for Bush...because everyone rallies around the Prez during hard times...

Am I too jaded to think he's totally wacked??? Wouldn't it hurt Bush in that he CAN'T PROTECT US ????? And his little war did NOTHING TO STOP TERROR?????

So now Bushco wants another attack??? God, I'm so cynical that I think this whole terror alert is one big political plot!!!

4. Greenfield was stating historical truth
And the fact that Repukes deny this truth and use the threat of terrorism to try to equate a vote for Kerry with caving to terrorism is the most craven and despicable politicking I have ever seen in my life.

the bush junta is shameless.

but across the spectrum of political opinion in this nation people have been saying that it's not "if" but "when" there is another attack, or at least a big attempt.

As much as I'd like to deny it, I think that's true. Rather than constantly instill fear, however, it would be nice if we had a govt which actually tried to give Americans some perspective on this threat.
