7. It was during some speech today...
and before he started talking, everyone gave him a standing ovation, including chimpy. I got all choked up watching it. Actually I started choking on the puke that came up in my throat.

5. Only on Drudge Report ...
... and then the link to the news story doesn't carry any mention of the standing ovation.

Note: Be sure to wash hands, keyboards and monitor after viewing Drudge (or is that Crudge).

6. Well, those Rumsfeld family reunions do get rousing
Besides, I'd give a standing ovation to any of my family members who could draw a fat government paycheck without doing any work.

Although if he was a major league fuck-up who'd gotten thousands of people killed through his incompetence, I'd probably piss in his beer bottle.

8. cable news stations CNN MSGOP FAUX were all trumpeting this
very frequently; and they were "reporting" the "story" with great relish

really annoyed me.

why, first of all, is this ANY kind of a story? Who cares if he got a standing O? some kind of propaganda campaign pumping up his "popularity"

second, he was standing next to the chimp when it happened, and they didn't mention the reception monkeyboy got. why not? did HE get one, too, or did he not? and if he didn't, why NOT? and why didn't they mention THAT?

it was at Arlington Cemetery, BTW. Need any further explanation as to why he got one there. Ft. Meyer is directly connected, at the western end of the cemetery, so there's no dearth of warm bodies to hauled over there to sweeten the audience.

Also, they had some dipwad army singer doing a martialized version of that horrrrrrrrid Lee Greenwood song, so you can imagine the mindset at that POS 'ceremony'
