Brock debunks the " Kerry flipping the bird" Newsmax BS
Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 12:50 PM by robbedvoter

The Washington Times pushed NewsMax.com Kerry rumor

On June 2, The Washington Times picked up a May 31 "Inside Cover Story" published on the right-wing website NewsMax.com by former U.S. Representative John Leboutillier (R-NY) claiming that Senator John Kerry "flipped off" Vietnam veteran Ted Sampley during Memorial Day ceremonies at the Vietnam Memorial Wall.

From NewsMax.com:

Kerry then began talking to a group of schoolchildren. Sampley then showed the T-shirt to the children and said, "Kerry does not belong at the Wall because he betrayed the brave soldiers who fought in Vietnam."

Just then Kerry -- in front of the school children, other visitors and Secret Service agents -- brazenly 'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to everyone, "Sampley is a felon!"

The cameras of CNN and many networks were at the event and did not report the alleged incident.

4. So which is it. . .
Kerry is so unimaginative he puts the world to sleep or so wity he flips the bird to some nutcase?

You can't have a guy both ways. The boring, slow, verbose presented to us by the republicans Kerry would not have summed up his feelings in one finger. . .but an exciting, new age president, with emotions and feelings well he would flip the finger wouldn't he?

5. Damn! I wish Kerry HAD flipped off Sampley...or slugged him...
This guy is a self-serving, bombastic, lying GOP operative who is an utter waste of space.

Kerry was giving tribute to his dead comrades at the Wall and Sampley-- a whining publicity hound-- tried to turn it in to a Bush commercial by provoking JK.

If the public knew what Sampley was doing, they'd cheer Kerry on while he cleaned his clock.

And Sampley would go off crying to his boss, Karl Rove.

7. I don't. It'd be unpresidential, and immoral in front of kids.
Something like that might well cost him the election. Which is why I KNEW he hadn't done it. He's an experienced politician, well rehearsed at controlling his temper and actions.
