Edited on Wed Jun-09-04 01:55 PM by fujiyama
I heard that in some markets (one of them being NYC) he's actually beaten Limbaugh. That shows that there are a lot of people that want a liberal alternative to Limbaugh.

To add, I myself hope Air America expand to the metro Detroit area. I need something interestin to listen to when commuting. NPR is starting to suck more and more, and the generic clear channel pop/rock/alternative/hip hop stations gets really repetetive. I won't even bother with RW talk radio. That'll just get me too enraged while driving!

"But in New York, where Air America still broadcasts over WLIB-1190 AM, the network beat Limbaugh's station, Disney-owned WABC, among both 25-to-54-year-olds and 18-to-34-year-olds during the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. period. In the 25-to-54 demographic, WLIB garnered a 3.4 share to WABC's 3.1; among 18-to-34-year-olds, WLIB won sevenfold with a 2.9 share to WABC's 0.4."

4. Randi was beating him in Florida before that.
So he opposed her sindication: if she comes, I go. The wingnut free market rules.
