3. You see, the problem is that the entire American System is so thoroughly
corrupted, twisted, and untrustworthy, the worse the higher you go, that how would be able to tell?

Scenario 2 starts with How is Free America to tell the difference between scenario 2 and scenario 1?

I guess there will be indicators, but I'mnot surer even a Kerry victory could convince me of the trustworthiness of Imperial Amerikan "Voting".

Maybe if Jimmy Carter comes in and does for us what he's has done for other Third World Countries under Tyranny, like ourselves.

Other than that, I am fully convinced that, whatever the Election Results, they will be skewed heavily in favor of Bunnypants* (i.e. Kerry has to win by a 10% landslide to eke out a 0.5% "victory") and that the voting will be partially rigged.

5. Christianity will be the national religion, States ordered to execute all
inmates on death rows, regardless of appeals.
Abortion illegal.
Military draft.
Tax cut for the rich become permanent.
War with Syria and Iran.
Troops sent into Venezuela.
The "privatization" process begins.
Civilian "watch groups", and RW youth organizations are encouraged.

Just for starters.

7. Call me an optimist but that's more of an "Emperor Jeb" thing
Orwell was indeed correct, but the Busheviks dare not resemble their spiritual antecedents (and Grandpa Bush's business partners) too closely.

Another generation or two who were raised in the Old American Republic will have to die off first, I think.

Though I may be an incurable optimist.

10. Only half-sarcasm, maybe not even THAT much
But don't start

If you haven't noticed, I speak melodramatically, rhetorically and sweepingly.

I do this with a purpose or two.

a) I speak often of the worst, most base and odious scenarios. I do this because I am almost NEVER sadly disappointed (though much to my shock and amazement, the Busheviks DID succeed in outdoing my worst case in a couple situations).

b) it also helps to constantly alert people of what we MIGHT be facing...motivation. Man and every day the Nazi/Soviet scenario looks a little more likely.

c) What is required here is something of a shock to the senses. I recall my own thinking, pre-Bush and Old Republic. It is a mode of thought this is incapable of fully understanding the threat we face. It is a genteel mode of thought, really...trusting. It's time, thanks to the Imperial Family is now over. I'm not sure we can put Humpty back together again but let's give it a try!

Kerry in November!

d) Unfortunately, because of the rhetorical certainty I utilize because...well because I've been right about so goddamned much since the Bloodless Coup of 2000. But because of my "rhetoric of certainty", I often get labeled as a tinfoiler. Of course, I DO believe that Wellstone was assassinated and I DO believe in LIHOP (the Clarke/Rice testimony sealed it for me).

Still...
