Randi Rhodes just nailed it.
As to all the debate about what we should put RR's face on, Randi says, "Put it on a food stamp and move on."

2. That would be a good idea except
food "stamps" are not issued any longer - recipients receive a credit card which is swiped in a point of sale machine, just as though you were using a Visa, MC

3. Huh, Then why am I ALWAYS in the line that has someone
using them and the cashier can't seem to figure out what they are or if they can how to get them out of the booklet?

6. I never understood why they were called "stamps"
My family used them for about a year in the 70s (talk about embarrassisng! There is no more humiliating experience for a 14-year-old than to be with your mother in the food store, paying for your purchases with food stamps, and being reminded that tampons cannot be paid for with food stamps).

But they're not sticky. They're more like scrip.

11. "Stamps" were used when the program
first began, then they went to a coupon book, which people still called "stamps", now it's plastic.

10. This varies by state...

I think most states use the card now, though.

5. I don't know how I missed it.
Must have been in the john but it was really hysterical hearing Randi say it when she was really worked up.

The dirtier my boots get, the more satisfaction there will be in wiping them on his face.
