Support "Stepford Wives"! Actors are Dem faithfuls!
...and generous with their donations.

The movie is obviously a slam on the picklesesque GOP hausfrau.

Niclole Kidman
Bette Midler
Matthew Broderick
Glenn Close

2. I wasn't going to see it, but then I read the interviews.
I like the whole idea of it being a comedy.

3. Well, since the movie is a remake of the 1975 original...
... I don't really see it as an obvious slam on Pickles. :D

I was looking forward to seeing the movie, until the reviews started coming in. I think I'll save the 12 bucks and just give it to Kerry instead! ;-)

4. I'll pass...
The original was a great feminist statement. I just don't think turning it into a comedy does the message justice.

6. Yeah...er
...supporting a film, not based on acting quality or weather it is thought provoking but instead who the actors support politically... we've been over this before, It doesn't matter who the actors back politically saying that you won't watch a film because an actor is a republican is like say you won't watch a film because an actors is Gay or a Democrat its silly... watch a film if you want to and judge it on its ability to get you thinking or the quality of the performances... this attempt to "screen" films so that you only see films with Dems in them just seems silly...

11. "MYOB" ?
??? ... I'm not attacking the film I will probably see it because Kidman can be excellent, But I wont base my decision on any film because it has republican or Democrat actors in it, I saw the Passion and Bowling for Columbine and will no doubt see Farenheight 9/11 both BFC and the Passion where moving and effecting for me... I think it would be best if people could appreciate things like that... but Ah-well...

9. It looks like it sucks
Have we reached the point where I have to see remakes of movies that weren't that good in the first place in order to show my politics.

12. well, I just saw a VERY funny ad on TV
AND, it has Christopher Walken, who told Teri Gross that it was the strangest character he's ever played; that it stuck with him longer than any other

and that's SAYING something, coming from him, yes?

who's more psycho than he is?
