"Saddam torture victim awarded $88M"
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/specialreports/iraq/s_199873.html

An Iraqi man who was tortured in Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison during the regime of Saddam Hussein was awarded $88 million in damages Monday by a federal court judge in Pittsburgh.

Now, how long before Iraqi's sue the American military for torture? And on this court's precendent, the military will lose.

This reminds me of President Bush's lawyer 'joke':

"The enemy attacked us thinking we were soft, thinking our culture was corrupt, thinking we'd just kind of roll over and say, OK, fine, we'll figure out if we can sue 'em. Man, did they make a mistake. They found a nation that's resolved. (Feb. 27, 2002)"

1. If theGulf War I POW's can't get any funds...
then he'll never get a dime. Uncle Shrubya said those funds are needed for 'the people of Iraq' ... since all the oil money is being sponged off.. it's needed to pay Haliburton.

2. How is it that an American court has jurisdiction over a crime in a
different country, committed by an Iraqi, in a lawsuit brought by Iraqi?
Unbelievable! We truly are the policeman of the world, albeit a corrupt and bribable one
