I am really worried...(Moore's Film)
I didn't sleep well last night and couldn't orginally figure out why. Then it occured to me...Bush probably has something really nasty brewing to distract from Moore's film. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll use this time to trot out Bin Laden. What does everyone else think?

1. I'm worried they'll use the Federal Election Commission to stop it.
I hope I'm just being paranoid.

3. the sight of police officers shutting down movie theaters
would be more damaging to bush than the film could ever be.

doesn't mean that at some point they won't find a way to prosecute moore. but i don't see what they can do to stop things tomorrow, short of sending out the brownshirts to close down the theaters.

if freepers go and try to disrupt things, they'll probably just get the crap beaten out of them.

6. I've got my tickets for Friday.
My daughter and I will be at the first showing in Albuquerque. I'm taking the day off and the whole ten yards. Yippee! Who's tougher than me?!

5. I just have a hard time believing..
that Bush is going to allow this movie to run unchecked. Perhaps they'll just choose to ignore it and hope it goes away soon.

7. Here's the deal
This is just my opinion; feel free to tell me if you think I'm wrong.

First of all, Michael Moore's movie has taken on a life of its own. If theater owners in conservative areas of the country are willing to screen this movie because of the demand, they will do ANYTHING to preserve those profits. If the distributors are adding additional screens daily, the profits from the movie will most likely also make a much better summer season for all movie chains.

I, too, am concerned about a "surprise" on Friday, but I'm expecting that surprise to be related to the Plame investigation, or the indictment of Kenneth Lay.

I'm more worried about a "surprise" timed to coincide with the June 30th Iraq handover. :tinfoilhat:

8. "Trot out bin Laden"
Ha ha ha ha! That's a laugh!! The chimp couldn't catch a cold, much less bin Laden. The past three years have proven that.

9. just say it's all liberal lies and attack Michael Moore
Make up a lie about Moore and order CNN to keep repeating it even after it's been refuted.

14. I think it's a gift from Michael Moore
and i'm glad he had the balls to make it. It's already playing in some places. Did i hear the GOP bitching about Wag the dog? nope, did it get stopped from being shown...nope. Don't worry, just be thankful it's out there.
