Is there anyone at DU capable of researching whether any of the
leading officials of the Bush administration have their children or grandchildren in the Armed Forces serving in Iraq? I am especially curious about Rumsfeld, Cheney,Wolfowitz, Libby, Feith,Condi(may be nephews or nieces),Rove,Karen Hughes; it would also be interesting to see if any of the bloviators like Krauthammer, Brooks, Safire,Kristol,Hume, Hannity, Limbaugh have any relatives in the scene at Iraq.

Could be very interesting, and I am sure will be very devastating to these chicken hawks.

1. A very good question----I'll be looking forward to the answers.
I'm a poor researcher but most DU'ers are awesome.

2. 'Have their children' in the armed forces?
You make it sound as though a responsible neo-con should have sufficiently brain-washed their children so that by the time they become an adult, they cheerfully sign up without a second thought, because that's what their parents' policies support.

The children are able to think for themselves. It's their decision, not their parents.

4. Sorry, that is not what I meant to say.I fully understand that they are
adults in their own right, but on a statistical basis it would be interesting to see what proportion of their children, grandchildren or relatives are serving in the Armed Forces in Iraq.I am going to take a wild guess and say none of these people mentioned have anyone close to them serving in Iraq.It would be nice to have proof, though and that is the reason for my call for help.

3. Only one congressman has a son who is in the service

some probably have nephews/nieces/sons or daughters-in law.

Their progeny is too "precious" to risk the loss of.

5. There are a couple of more who have gone
over since Congress approved of Bu$h's folly.

I'm pretty sure Biden has a kid there in the military and possibly one or two others.
