October surprise - catching OBL? Efforts have been stepped up.
If this is a dupe, please excuse. I haven't seen this yet.

I heard on TV that "secret" sources are reporting (National Review?). Yes, that's where I heard it. National Review. High level Pakistan sources have reported that the * admin. has requested stepped up efforts to catch or kill Osama, and specifically it was mentioned that it was important to do so before the election.

So I guess this proves that there hasn't been an all out effort to catch him before now, if there's room to "step up" the effort, huh?

When WILL the public catch on this guy (*)? He has greatly endangered the country by not going all out for OBL right after 9/11. Grrrrrrr....

1. He's not a priority.
He's the single biggest mass murderer in US history.

2. Catching Osama now is proof of their ineptitude. Osama is dead and
on ice. To be brought out when needed, in my opinion. Or he is in a Houston Hospital connected to a dialysis machine..

6. article
there was an article recently in The New Republic called "July Surprise?" about this that quotes a Pakistani official as saying that a White House aide told them that "it would be best if the arrest or killing of HVT (high value target) were announced on twenty-six, twenty-seven, or twenty-eight July"--the first three days of the Democratic National Convention in Boston."
