Why Even Pessimistic Demos Should Vote This November--Lincoln
"The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from support of a cause we believe to be just."

I found this in a book titled Bite-Sized Lincoln: Wit and Wisdom from the Frontier President. And since the GOPsters are turning their backs on their Lincoln legacy, just as they've turned their backs on their Eisenhower legacies and the better part of Theodore Roosevelt's legacy, that legacy is ours for the claiming.
