LIBERALS! Need laughs? Uncle Richardo's 'Must-Read' book of the week:

James Wolcott's acidic book snuck into the stores last week amid the "Unfit for Command" hoopla...and it's a great counter-point. On page 8 he even predicts the savaging of Kerry's war record.

This polemic (I'm about 1/3rd of the way through) reads like every DU rant about the media ever - except funnier. A few choice lines:

Novak - "A Washington fixture, which does no honor to Washington or fixtures..."

Peggy Noonan - "The dashboard saint of Republican piety, giving off a phosphorescent glow."

David Frum - "A lapdog looking for a lap, the larger the better."

Dennis Miller - "After 9/11, he lifted his leg against liberal Democrats and Hollywood lefties and was eventually rewarded with his ownb weeknight wee-wee pad on CNBC."

Alan Keyes and Michael Savage - "Their shows offered a choice between two kinds of crap, smooth or chunky..."

These comments are so densely packed that if you highlighted them all the pages would be solid yellow except for the articles and conjunctions.

READ THIS BOOK!

2. So on the Joe Bob scale....
we got the lap-dog fu, wee wee pad fu, and phosphorescent fu.

Any breasts or buckets of blood?

Enquiring minds want to know!

3. Well there is this on Ann Coulter...
"She is the Paris Hilton of postmodern politics, an elongated zero, a white-hot sex symbol symbolizing nothing."

I think that counts as a bucket of blood - certainly not a breast.
