Even more than Bush,I believe it is the evil twins, Rumsfeld and
Cheney, that have systematically destroyed our democracy. These two men whose association goes back to the days of Richard Nixon have been plotting to undermine the usual checks and balances that are the essence of our Constitution.Even a man as ruthless and evil as Richard Nixon found Rumsfeld to be creepy and another paragon of bureaucratic infighting, Henry Kissinger, found him to be cold and calculating with no redeeming values. As for Cheney the best way to describe him would be to say he, if anything, is even more bloodthirsty than Rumsfeld.

During the Ford administration, these two madmen decided to take on the North Koreans after they seized a US Naval ship and sent 30-40 young men to their deaths in an unnecessary firefight against a well armed North Korean force. So they have a lot of experience in sending young men to their deaths without having done anything to serve the country themselves.

Their business record that they have touted as giving them a unique perspective in running government is as shoddy as their bureaucratic record.Cheney's revolving door job as halliburton's CEO is well known.Less well known is Rumsfeld's shady activities in getting Nutrasweet approved by the FDA when many scientists at the FDA were convinced that it is a dangerous neurological toxin. His contribution to this was hiring away the FDA's lead attorney in charge of that investigation at a critical time that resulted in a long delay in the prosecution of the FDA's case against the Nutrasweet Co.This resulted in the expiration of the statute of limitation after which Rumsfeld, as the CEO of the Nutrasweet Co. disposed of this hot potato to the Monsanto Co. on whose board of directors he held a seat.In the process he became a multimillionaire.

The Iraq adventure was a perfect opportunity for these two men to display their talent for revenge spurred on by greed and the pursuit of power. There is no doubt that they have succeeded beyond their wildest expectations. To these men the destruction of our Constitution and the commission of war crimes were just so much road kill on the way to their blood drenched Nirvana.

1. GW Bush is merely the Front Person.
He is a simpleton that barely functions. The real power behind the Neo Fascists is Cheney, representing the Multi-Corps. The org. PNAC are the power brokers behind the curtain. Until the Neo Fascist stooges in Congress can be dislodged nothing can be done to prosecute the Neo Fascist criminals that are destroying America's environment, liberties, and the Middle Class. The Neo Fascists have declared War on America. We can surrender or fight!

Rumsfailed Admitted to Violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public that when CIA Director Tenet requested that an Irai prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act. Rumsfailed then ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graib but the prisoner was not listed at that location. That is two violations of the Geneva Convention. Tenet and Rumsfailed violated the Geneva convention, thereby also The Constitution of the USA. Not one complaint or charge was made regarding Rumsfailed and Tenet, not even by any Dem in Congress.

Does the US no longer follow the Geneva Convention or the Constitution of the USA?

It appears so.

3. These are breathtakingly destructive men
in terms of the damage they have done economically, morally, environmentally and even physically. They have bankrupted the treasury through fiscal and trade deficits that will only be resolved through a currency crash. They have trampled on all individual rights and the US environment, as well as sacrificing lives without a blink. And, as referenced in other threads, aspartame, which was approved under Rumsfeld at GD Searle, is an insidious toxin. Also, while Shrub may not be as powerful as they in terms of force of will, he certainly shares their destructive and cynical world view.

2. I agree. Cheney is Evil Agrippa to Shrubya's Tiberius
(if Agrippa hadn't been poisoned by Babs..errr..Livia Augusta)

For more on the original Agrippa (not nearly as Evil as Cheney) friend of the original Caeser

http://gensvipsania.canadaoccidentalis.org/historiae.html

Agrippa, was very much unlike Cheney, and was considered a friend of the Common People and the Common Soldier.

Unlike the monstrous Cheney, who barely thinks them humsn.

So, if Agrippa had lived, and was evil...then he'd be Cheney.
