Wouldn't the USA be a curious country if Bush was "re"elected ?
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 07:48 PM by BonjourUSA
I have just read a French magazine which searched all the international polls (a very long job !! Perhaps it was also done by some US papers). Everywhere in the world Bush gets less than 20% wish to go on seeing his face of asshole (often less 10%, in France for instance). Except in Israel where he'd get 43%.

1. Curious is not
the word. It is a frightening thought.

3. Then the world will hate us, not just the US government
The people of the world realize that Bush at the very least did not get the most votes, and that at most he was not legitimately elected.

If he really is elected, and by a plurality or majority vote, then the people of the world will hate not only the government of the US, but the people as well.

treason..without our mainstream media there would be no bush.

But, Kerry is going to win.

13. "Head up the ass" I think is the translation
"con" often resembles "cul" en anglais! A lot of the French expressions are priceless!

5. WOW, not even 50% in Israel?
I knew he was disliked around the world, but I'm a bit surprised at the 20%. Since this was done by a French magazine, is it possible they were a bit biased?

I actually hope they're right, and I also hope this info gets to the US media, but I guess I just have to ask.

14. A French newspaper would not play to disguise the polls.
It would be fast compromised. But of course, it can comment them with its own point of view.

Its conclusion of this inquiry: " it is not only a hated, aggressive, isolated but objectively a weakened America which is embodied today by Bush. Some can be overjoyed, not us. With many others in the world, we want this to be known.

7. It's sad that the rest of the world knows more about U.S. politics...
than the average U.S. citizen.

The Psyops working in the U.S. media have really done their job well.

15. well, maybe not so curious...
....it means that slightly more than half of the country agree with his politics, or dont like Kerry.

They might not like Bush as a person that much, though.

17. Not my kind of "curious" or "interesting".
What we have now is going to look like utopia compared to what is to come under a Chimp second term.
