Why can't the press report HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS???
Once again, I'm reading/watching/listening to the news of the protests and the damn reporters have this genetic defect that won't allow them to say 'HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS OF PROTESTERS' but instead 'tens of thousands' Do you know how much that demeans the protests. The media is afraid to report exact numbers so they use these damn catch phrases like 'tens of thousands' in order to downplay the crowd. It just seems so freaking small to say that number because to me, 'tens of thousands' sounds like something under 100,000; whereas, 'HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS' of people would truly reflect the fact that probably 500,000-750,000 people actually showed up and protested.

1. It is impossible..
...for that many people to not be in love with Dear Leader. As a consequence, reality has had to be reajusted.

Thank you for your cooperation.

2. Hi LynneSin
:hi:

Our local CBS affiliate here in San Diego had "hundreds of thousands of protestors" reported on their crawl, but the talking head said "tens of thousands". Go figure

at least the 60's. Just more government propaganda.

4. it would interfere
with their insistance that the protestors are all kooks, weirdos, communists, terrorists, etc. it's impossible to have a mass gathering of regular people like you and me!

8. The Networks of Propaganda...
cannot report the facts because their Corporate Masters will fire them for doing so. Mass Media is consolidated to support the Neo Fascists who do their bidding. It is a mutual coruption agreement.

9. Did you hear Bloomberg talk @ the hippies at that luncheon?

I couldn't believe my ears.

He was talking about how many wonderful restaurants the delegates can go to in his town.

Then he said something about there not being too many naked? happie? protesters.

Did anyone else hear him say that today?

I see why New Yorkers hate him.
