The United States has two of the most centrist political parties in the democratic world. It rarely matters who wins. Things turn out all right regardless...

Maybe he means the Dems and some other party, like the Natural Law Party or something. He couldn't possibly mean the anti-choice, pro-gun, tax-cuts-for-the-rich, anti-civil-rights, anti-labor, warmongering repukes, could he?
