Al-Jazeera finds better host in Republicans
NEW YORK - (KRT) - Snubbed and stifled by the Democrats at their convention, the oft-under fire Al-Jazeera television network is having a much easier time with the Republicans.

This is so even though high-level administration officials such as Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice at times have blasted the Qatar-based news network as a biased mouthpiece for al-Qaeda

1. IMO the Dems made a mistake in how they treated Al-Jazeera
doesn't make the RNC convention I'm currently watching any more disgusting or shameful.

2. If the DEM's accepted them graciously
they'd be labeled 'traitors'.

The repukes wrap themselves in the flag and all is well.....

3. you have a point
we are kind of damned if we and damned if we don't. I just think they should have accepted them as that would be right thing to do and we would get critized either way. Its not that huge of a deal. I bet if the DNC had let them hang the banner in Boston the RNC would have gone the opposite way and banned it... ridiculous

6. That's too bad for the dems - they missed out
Sometimes they worry too much. Of course if the Dems had been friendly with Al-Jazeera they could have been open to criticism from the Reps. Whereas the Dems wouldn't criticize the Reps for the same thing.
