Pat Robertson’s newest teaching series -- Secrets of Financial Prosperity
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 10:18 AM by khephra
God’s intention is to bless His people. The very word “blessing” means to “confer well being and prosperity on someone.”

In his latest teaching series, Pat Robertson reveals the secrets of living a life of Financial Prosperity.

Pat uncovers the 6 essential keys to the life God blesses as well as outlining over 100 tips and strategies that you can use to:

Get out of debt

Earn supplemental income

Build a safe retirement

Invest profitably

Learn effective money-management

Acquire wealth

And develop an attitude toward wealth that will honor God.

The Bible speaks many times about money and its use. The worth of our lives is not founded on material possessions. But wealth and its proper use can enhance the work of the Kingdom of God and bless many people.

This series will allow you to gain the right amount of leisure, provide peace of mind, eliminate nagging worry and free you from the pressure of debt.

Most of all, when you partner with CBN, you’ll begin to use your resources for the Kingdom of God. Immediately you’ll be providing food to hungry people, water to the thirsty, medicine to the dying and the gospel to those who are lost.

1. Where's the part about giving it to the poor?
I'm pretty sure Jesus said something or other about that. Also about money changers in the temple.

4. The 700 Club does have a charity program
They do outreach through churches in big cities and overseas-I know this for a fact because I've referred people to the food pantry at one of the churches, and they gave my clients a bunch of food. In Detroit at one point, they were giving out free bag lunches to homeless people at Clark Park. They also give away school clothes every fall, so poor kids can have at least one new outfit for fall.

I'm sure that Pat, as a lawyer, is very careful about the money raised by his organization and FCC rules. I still wouldn't send them any money, but they haven't totally forgotten about feeding the poor.

6. Oh, I believe it
Pat and his ilk have to--there's too many groups like Americans United and the ACLU watching their ass to go full-out scam artist.

5. Translation

Translation: Most of all, when you partner with CBN, you’ll begin to use your resources for the Kingdom of God. Immediately you’ll be providing financing to Republicans, wealth to the wealthy, money to the millionaires and a Gulfstream to those who only have one.

7. Acquire wealth
What was that about a Camel again? Something about the eye of a needle, or was it how to hit a Camel in the ass with a bomb. I get sooo confused by the teachings of Christ.

10. Don't you worry and don't confuse yourself by actually reading the Bible
and thinking about Christ's words yourself. It's too much for any non-millionaire's mind. Just turn it off and let Pat and Jerry tell you what it says. There's no need to tax yourself by actually thinking on your own.

;-)

11. Pat Robertson's example is in only
four lessons. Lie, cheat, steal and how
Daddy gets your ass off the boat headed for
combat.

14. Do you mean Pat's combat assignment as "Liquor Officer?"
Q: "Now at Masan, did you ever hear Mr. Robertson referred to as the 'Division Liquor Officer'?

A: Well, I heard him referred to as the 'Liquor Officer.' I don't know about the 'Division Liquor.'
I thought he was the 'Masan liquor Officer.'

Q: How did that reference come about or how did you hear that?

A: Because he frequently made trips to Japan, I would have said, to buy liquor, maybe. But I guess from the point of view of the guys at Masan, or the real purpose was to buy liquor. But I suppose some trumped-up excuse was devised so that he could — for an official trip.

And then he could go over and do something and then bring liquor back.

Q: Who referred to Pat Robertson as the 'Masan Liquor Officer'?

A: Well I guess just about everybody in our barracks, or whatever you want to call it.

That is, I'm not sure he didn't do it himself, as I think I said earlier

It was just more or less general jocular reference by people there.

12. "And develop an attitude toward wealth that will honor God. " Ok then, I
guess we can assume the good rev uses the following passage to help people "develop an attitude about wealth that will honor God".

Matthew 19:16-24

21. Jesus saith to him, If thou wilt be perfect, go sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have a treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.

22. And when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful; for he had many possessions.

23 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

15. Of course having diamond & gold mines worked by slave labor helps!
And his ties with murderous dictators like Zaire's Mobutu Sese Seko were just as lucrative...

13. "Brothers & sisters, send me $100, and I'll tell you how I made millions!"
"Thank you so much for your $100 -- this is how I make millions!"

Same old story.
