Who's the flip flopper now?
If the media ignores Bush's MAJOR flip flop on whether we can win the war on terror, I won't be surprised. If Kerry made this kind of mistake, it would be all over for him, but Bush will probably get a pass. Affirmative Action for the retarded, you know.

1. Flip Flopper-in-Chief, George W. Bush
Randi Rhodes today was running down a good loooooooooooooong list of of things this poor excuse for a human being has flip flopped on, it's insane!

only in Karl Rove's america can Kerry be labeled a flip flopper and bush can get away with murder (literally and figuritively)

2. He got a pass on the last ...
flip flop... a couple of months ago he was a "war president...he didn't do anything in the oval office without war on his mind".
And then he wanted to be the "peace president".

Its mission accomplished...mission miscalculation...to mission impossible (from the Kerry campaign):bounce:

3. It finally got though to him
after so many died, that the way he's running it, the war on terror can't be won. Then he realized that what he admitted, and we already knew, isn't helping his campaign for another term, so he had to flip-flop again! I'd be very surprised if anyone is still listening to him.

4. I wonder
I know that Bush has a script that he sticks to because he's too stupid to address anything off the top of his head, therefore, I wonder if this flip-flop thing was planned. I don't see how it would help him but is he that freaking stupid that he would make a mistake like that?

5. Look! I just read the FR thread on this topic and what we don't
understand is that *bush did not flip flop. He is just an incredibly nuanced thinker and speaker that we liberals cannot understand. Besides, we took it out of context, and we all know the complexity of *bush's context.

Is that clear?

12. "Nuance?" Sorry, freeps, your Chimperor doesn't do nuance
"My job isn't to try to nuance." G.W. Flip Flopper

I do like the AOL welcome page, for a change--one of the story headlines is: "Bush Changes Tune--Again." Heheheh.

7. The spin I'm hearing...
"Chimp isn't an extemperaneous thinker."

Isn't that just lovely.

8. they are already spinning it
to his advantage. Just getting home and despite my better angels saying: Don't turn on the TV, just don't do it ... I turned on MSNBC. Yep, Tweety, Mrs. Greenspan, JC (Colonel Sanders) Watts and Joey Scarface explaining the nuances in Bush's statement today clarifying what he shouldn't have admitted (my spin)yesterday. Liberal media, my ass.

Switch to CNN ... why am I suddenly hellbent on torturing myself ... to see both Doles and a former Dem Senator whose name eludes me for the moment. Liddy, of course, is spewing horse shit about how good Bush's policies are for NC and how his strength and resolve is winning the war against terror ... blah, blah, blah, shit, shittier, shittiest while her limpdick loser roommate nods agreement and our Dem is mute!

Click OFF. Less than 5 minutes of this and that's more than enough for me. If we don't do something about the fucking media, we're toast. My only consolation is that the demonstration on Sunday shows that many among we, the people see through all this smoke, mirrors, propaganda, hypocrisy and bullshit.

11. Sigh
It feels hopeless. Bush can say whatever the hell he wants and the media will put a positive spin on it. I don't know why I watch cable news when I know every show will be filled with idiocy. I've been pretty as of yet about watching cable news. I'm boycotting this whole week.

10. technically, bush always has been
but the media will never portray him that way. they'll allow him nuances, where with kerry, they immediately pounce on every out-of-context quote
