Why Do We Love "Whistle Ass?"
I don't mean Whistle Ass himself, but the nickname, "Whistle Ass."

I'm quite taken with it myself, and I've seen it all over the Web lately. I know where it came from; my question is what makes it so effective? How is it that the moniker "Whistle Ass" manages to capture the tao of Dubya?

C ya,

THe Plaid Adder

1. I love it because the thought of a 71-year-old woman saying it...
at someone she sees on TV is amusing and endearing as hell.

(P.S. may she rest in peace)

I don't know what it is; it's just damned funny. Just imagining an old woman harrumphing and calling him whistle ass is priceless.

is quite compatable with "Whistle Dick" (Cheney, of course!)

7. I can't read "whistle ass" without grinning.
I think that it's the HUMOR of the term that makes it so attractive. It's definitely a put-down, and a unique and original one at that -- but even more, it's FUN!

I have always believed that JOY is the greatest weapon against dark and evil forces. And there's just something kinda JOYFUL about calling bush* a "whistle ass". :D

8. It's the grumpy colorful quality of it, outshining all our clever
alternatives. It sounds more "real" than Dim Son, Bunnypants or Jr. It already spun a demonstration tecnique (use whistles) and if you want them really loud, check this:
