1. And if CBS will apologize to Bush, how about if they also apologize...
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 10:46 PM by NightTrain
...to Bill and Hillary Clinton? After all, didn't CBS (and all the other goddamned so-called "news" networks) gobble up every morsel of slime that the right tossed their way about the First Couple? Never mind that the vast majority of it was exaggerated or just plain false; CBS and its ilk reported that crap like it was the gospel truth! And we the people had to put up with it for eight goddamned years.

So, while CBS is in apology mode, will it offer up an apology to Bill and Hillary, too? I wouldn't hold my breath, truthseekers.

4. Nigh Train you hit on something there why don't we call on CBS to issue
apology to the Clintons to show that are not showing partiality. I think Rather looked rather foolish tonight,I was not moved by his emotion at all.

2. Did you not hear that it doesn't matter anymore about wmd's
because a horrible dictator is gone, the world is much safer for it, a man who murdered 1,000's of his own people, had mass graves, gassed his own people, so don't worry about wmd's we got rid of a horrible man. sarcasm on.

3. Logic,? You using logic here?
No this is all about emotions. Who is more likable? Who do we feel better about? Who says the right things at the right time? What CBS did made us feel bad. The WMD situation didn't make us feel anything. After all what do we know about those Arabs? They make us feel bad too. Feeling, wooh feeling, nothing more than feelings.

My God the whole world is turning into about bunch of Charismatics.

I'm gonna go take my prozac so I feel better.
