7. I agree. Kerry should

look in the camera often instead of just making eye contact with the moderators.

He should never utter the word "atrocities" and instead use "crimes", "abuse", "violations of the Geneva Convention" if asked about the Abu Ghraib scandal.

It's not about Kerry being someone he's not. It's about revealing more of who he actually is. There is strength in him. There is intelligence and wisdom. It's okay to let voters glimpse the pain. His mantra during the debates (whether discussing the Iraq debacle, Abu Ghraib, outsourcing of American jobs,the Patriot Act, our dependence on foreign oil, etc.)should be "America is BETTER than that. We're better than that."

Keep it simple and appeal to his base and the better nature of the few swing voters that are up for grabs. In that deep voice, he HAS keep saying, "America is BETTER than that." Just watch Bush chew on the inside of his cheek as John keeps hammering on that point. He has to say it often enough that the media can't help but mention it afterwards.
