a prayer circle and encourage the nation to pray for Cheney. That might actually win over a few B/C fanatics. It also keeps him out of the way, so no one can claim he hindered medical access.
But I'd really rather see the testicle-shock thingy with the defibrillator.
There's still doubt at this point? I think the real question is whether Cheney's heart will go before Edwards tears it out of his chest (at which point we will discover that, like the Grinch's, it's three sizes too small).
13. It's a seated debate! DC will just disappear from the screen! Woo-ha!
Just heard DC insisted on a seated debate. Why? Less far to fall if the ticker takes a lickin'? Can give the finger more freely to us & JE under the table? Why?
Perhaps Scalia told him to have an orgy going on under the table to help "release the pressure"?
14. Any replacement would not be on the ballot, however.
IF Unca Dick goes room temp at the debate (or any place else between now and November) it will still show his name on the ballot when you walk into the voting booth.
The big thing I worry about is the HUGE publicity it will generate for the GOP here at the end of the campaigns. By the time they do an appropriate send off, they will have elevated Unca Dick to sainthood, and shrub to some grieving son who needs the sympathy vote--and they will do it for free with the news media's help and blessing.
Cheney has a heart attack and it is Edwards' fault for being such a meenie to him. Then when he saves him, it will be a publicity stunt on Edwards' part. To wax threadbear Yakoff Smirnoff..."what a KKKahn-tree."
that if that were to happen then why do ya think that McCain has been going with Bush to alll these rallies in different states? yep, you guessed it. I would say that McCain has cut a deal with Bush that if anything happened to Cheney then McCain would step right in.... This is the October surprise.....
