They will carry over the "flip flop" label to domestic issues
Just watched NBC nightly news....said bushco is studying Kerry's Senate record for contradictory votes. Their aim is to carry over the "flip flop" label into domestic issues and put Kerry on the defense about his Senate record. Kerry needs to respond with the "flop" label, lol.

1. Since their is no Republican domestic program, other than
utter destruction of all but the billionairses, there is nothing for them to flip flop on. Anyway you flip zero, it is still zero.

2. You know
I actually think it weakens their argument overall when they try to apply it to everything.
I think it's far more potent if they just hang it on the Iraq issue.

I think this pretty much assures that Bush's performance will be similar to the first one. Lots of repeating.

It doesn't matter. If Kerry presents himself the way he did in debate number one, nothing is going to stick. IMO anyway.

3. Exactly - been saying this for months! The Chimp is the one who has
changed positions more times than a model for the Kama Sutra...
WMDs!
WMD "program-related-activities"
Ruthless dictator!
Nation-Building!
Why the fuck are we at war, again??

Not to mention:
The Chimp's flops on:

abortion rights
gay marriage
creation of the 9/11 commission
Condi's testimony in front of 9/11 commission
His own "visit" with the 9/11 commission
reforming the intelligence services
etc etc etc etc

4. NBC News blew tonight
They led with the NY Times report showing how wrong some of the intelligence was on Iraq, so NBC News decided that they'd water down the impact of that by playing the spin of Condoleezza Rice from talk shows earlier today. Then the report ended with a talking point from Bush/Cheney 04 that Kerry "had the same intelligence" (is this even true?) and voted to authorize force. NBC News once again fails to see the difference between voting for the "big stick" and using the big stick.

6. I'm not surprised NBC was bad- Brokaw is an apologist for Bushco
Don't know who their anchor was tonight, but I never watch their evening news show because I don't care for or have much respect for Tom Brokaw since he gives the impression and has made remarks that indicate to me that he is inclined to go easier on the Bush Administration than Dan Rather or Peter Jennings.
