1. I have had it with Tweety and his panel. He also was always
supportive of that idiot pollster he used who finally got canned because he is so biased.

Tweety for whatever reason wanted to declare Cheney the victor it seemed.

And Andrea Mitchell and her husband is so republican and Bush supporters.

Tweety and his panel would be right at home on Fox.

Ron Reagan however seems to try to keep things unbiased.

3. They had to overstate it.
In the pregame show they all said that even a tie in the debate would go in the Dems favor. So what he is saying here is defending his position and denying Edwards even a tie. Silly but true.

4. That's the isolation, ignorance and arrogance of Beltway/Nantucket talking

to themselves. Edwards connected with real people; I suspect Cheney frightened them.

12. Yeah, like when Edwards spoke of the suit he won for the little girl and
her family against the company that known for a long time that it was producing and selling a defective product that injured people and did nothing to make it safer. Cheney's rebuttal started off with what he had witnessed/done for a company. The contrast was very clear.

Edwards spoke of standing up for people. Cheney spoke of standing up for companies/corps.

5. Chris Matthews is not offended by Cheney's LIES
Chris Matthews knows that the VP lied about Halliburton, the 9/11-Saddam Hussein connection, and that Cheney did indeed met Senator John Edwards twice -- this fact alone makes Cheney's comment about John Edward's being a light weight senator who has had no significant influence compared with Dick Cheney's, to be dishonest, petty, nasty and a low blow. --

Yet he is going on MSNBS this morning stating that Edwards came off as an inexperienced lightweight as compared with the well seasoned and tough Cheney. This is unbelievable. It seems that lying to the American people is okay with Mr. Matthews even if you are the Vice President of the United States.

8. That was sick
The way Chris talked, you'd think Cheney told the truth and mopped the floor with the inexperienced liar (Edwards). That panel was the worst one yet. They were so assured that Cheney won when everyone else thought it was close. Cheney's lies is what threw the debate over to Edwards as the winner.

11. It appears that Matthews is phallically obsessed.
In this case a cigar is more than just a cigar. Matthews should come out of the closet.
